I'm a 23 yrs old Freelance Cinematographer and Photographer, living in Bucharest, Romania.

I have started taking pictures at the age of 15 out of pure curiosity and I followed a two photography course during high-school, which led to creating and discovering a huge passion for what still and motion picture photography means. At the age of 18, my passion for music led me to photograph concerts and music festivals around Romania.
Since 2009 I have made 5 films; 4 of them are fiction short films and one is a documentary. Three of these films, I have made them on my own as a producer, cinematographer and guide for my actors, and shot them on 35 mm Kodak film, both color and black and white.
In November 2010 my documentary was shown at Docencourts Documentary Short Film Festival in Lyon, on the non-competitive MIFID section, dedicated to student film-makers.

In December 2010 I was awarded The Kodak Cinematography Award. The festival also housed an exhibition with 28 of my photographs and I was also awarded the Photography Award which honored me and gave me the impulse to go on with shooting film.

I have 4 ongoing photography projects, one is inspired by my experiences with concert photography.

Besides my photography work I am also attracted to editing,
Recently I've became interested in design and made a few posters for small projects. My latest took part in the “Bauhaus Reloaded” Contest organized by the Hungarian Cultural Centre of Bucharest and won a 3rd prize in computer graphics section.

As a camera operator I have worked with “Anim’est” International Animation Film Festival for their making-off and also with UNESCO for the recording of a Japanese Theater Workshop held in Bucharest.

In August 2011 I will attend Budapest Cinematography Masterclass for 2 weeks as a scholar. I was elected from 126 other film students that applied to the masterclass where Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC will teach.
