Komen Northern Nevada's photostream

Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

Of the net proceeds raised by Susan G. Komen Northern Nevada, up to 75% will remain in northern Nevada and the eastern Sierra to fund non-duplicative education, screening and treatment programs for the medically underserved. At least 25% of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Program to fund medical research.

During the past nine years, the Susan G. Komen Northern Nevada affiliate has granted more than $1.7 million to community programs.
