Will take photos for food. Ultimately, at the end of the day when I can't find a job or no one will pay me to sing them to sleep, then I know that I can live on the memories of my photos.

I first got into photography as a senior in high school since senior photos were too expensive!! Of course I didn't take my own, I got them for cheap at a local portrait studio but I wanted to offer more affordable sessions for people.

So in college I first used a webcam and point and shoot camera to shoot friends and family and edited the photos in photoshop! YEAH!!! Cheap, I say. Then of course as I grew older, my bank account got bigger and more credit cards appeared at my door step even when I didn't ask for them. Te-he.

I first started "shooting" (back in the day) with a canon powershot then kept investing in things I didn't need like a sony cybershot, and a casio exsilm or something like that. I would say HONESTLY... its' not what you shoot with, if you have an eye for something - you can still capture it with a point and shoot! The quality and options of how you can shoot it changes with a good camera - that's all.

I currently shoot with three cameras, one that is lighter and can carry round easily, the other two are for "serious" shoots.

Canon EOS 40D
Canon EOS 5D Mark ii

Then I rotate from lens to lens but mostly shoot with the middle one of the following:

Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Most of my macro is also done with the 24-70, I need to get a lens for that but my pockets are empty at the moment!
