Who we are

NLBorrels is an independent, global non-profit network of Dutch expat professionals and entrepreneurs dedicated to increasing social interaction, career advancement and exchange of information of interest to the Dutch community living abroad.

The NLBorrels organization was founded by Sander Raaymakers in 2001.

What we do

NLBorrels organizes frequent formal and informal "borrels" (networking events), parties and sporting events through its network of local chapters.

Today (May '05), we are represented in 17 cities: Amsterdam (NL), Barcelona (SP), Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Milan (IT), New York City, Palo Alto, Philadelphia, Rio de Janeiro (BR), San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC. We also partner with similar organisations in London (UK), Cannes (FR) and St. Petersburg (RU)

Membership

We presently count over 2800 members in the USA and another 2200 in 50 countries world-wide*.

Only registered members receive an invitation for the events we organize, but guests are always welcome.
