I started photography with a Nikon 301 that I still use for slide photography. I now have a Canon S70 and a Nikon D60. I use Photoshop CS but Lightroom is my new preferred editing software. I still love the purity of slide photography; capturing the real image, capturing the real instant.
I can appreciate digital creativity but its not my philosophy. I just love the great landscapes, seascapes and Ansel Adams inspired photographs.
I'm a member of a local camera club (Locksheath & Sarisbury Green, Hampshire). I strongly recommend joining a club to improve and push your hobby to higher levels.
Photography is NOT about hardware, its about what your eye and your imagination sees.
