During my first tour in Iraq I upgraded from a Canon Pro 1 to a Nikon D200. I currently shoot with the D200, an S5Pro, an old Leicaflex, an even older Nikon F, and a cheapo Holga. I have plans to add a Mamiya 645 AFD II to the line up as well as a Nikon F6.

Update: I just added a Nikon D70 DSLR to the line up and converted it for color digital IR. Should be lots of fun.

Update '08: Added the Nikon D3 & D300 to the line up. Selling the D200 and *sigh* probably the S5Pro as well.... I love that camera so much.

Update late '08: Got rid of the D300, kept the S5Pro for now. Also picked up an old Rolleiflex TLR, a Mamiya C3 TLR, and a Bronica SQ-AI SLR. I have the D3x on order and am awaiting it anxiously.

XMAS 08- Still no D3X :-(, but I did get the EOS 5DMKII kit and the 85mm 1.2 and 135mm 2.0. Canon is a big learning curve compared to Nikon and honestly speaking I dont think the image quality can compare to Nikon.

I am fascinated by the stories a well taken photo can tell and the moments in life they can capture.

Update, this is the coolest photo I have ever seen, check it out www.flickr.com/photos/sarah_dutton/550677463/

"While Devin is out fighting for American people's right to blurb their verbal BS, He still takes time from being an American hero to take pictures that go fom one mouth dropping extreme to another. While keeping a wonderful sence of humor. He allows us the chance to see, but not experiance the terrible things he gets to see while defending the freedom we enjoy everyday. He is an awesome photographer and has been a very good flickr friend from day one. I want to thank him for being a sheepdog and defending the american people from the wolves of the world who on a whim want to take our freedom away. Take a look at his family who misses him and take a look at the Iraq experiance first hand.
Thanks devin for what you do.
If you get the chance, take a look at the genius that is Sgt Butler.

P.S I would not hesitate a second to back you up!"
