i would paint you a picture, but it would not be a pretty one. 24, scruffy, going blind. holder of the world's most useless bachelor's degree. veteran of countless idealist bands and projects gone awry. midnight driver, day sleeper. speaker of every language of the world and understander of none. lost. poor. slightly dented. enamored of hello kitty and definitely in love with the memory of a real-life smart girl. conceptual, not factual. a painter of ghosts in your peripherals.

photography is (still) a new art to me. i bought a cheap camera in october of 2006, and i've been fumbling along ever since. i'll never be a professional; i've never been trained to any extent. any feedback, pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated, as they are the only means of improvement beyond personal experience. (don't worry, i will reciprocate any comments!)
