New York based.
Current fascinations include industrial areas, abandoned buildings and low-light conditions (hopefully all three). I truly love shooting in existing low-light conditions and strive to push my camera to it's limits while maintaining image quality. I use off camera flash only when absolutely necessary, ie: no light.
I also try to limit processing after the fact. I will adjust light levels, saturation or contrast with no qualms and have been known to combine an image or two to create a closer approximation to what was the reality, but have no interest in Photoshop filters. It's not that I'm a purist, but just prefer the simpler look to things.
All of my work is available for purchase, low resolution work has been uploaded due to theft in the past at another site. Please contact me for high res versions.
You can also view some of my work not on Flickr at my website, www.jeffmccrum.com
Thanks for checking out my profile and let me know if you want to explore any old buildings in the New York area, I'm always up for spending evenings in old, rusty, derelict spaces.
