I am a fine-art photographer, specializing in infrared film photography. My portfolio of landscape and architectural images features locations in the Eastern US, Ireland and Southwest Britain. I was awarded a Regional Artist Project Grant by the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, which partially funded my return to England in May of 2010. I am currently exhibiting new work from my travels in the Southwest of England, which is now part of my ongoing series THE SACRED AND THE ANCIENT.
I recently added a Pentax K-7 DSLR to my equipment collection, adding digital photography to my skill set. My favorite forms of digital photography are night landscape light-painting and low-light landscapes. I'm currently procuring permission for night shoots in cemeteries.
I am still dedicated to producing infrared film photography, my favorite medium and true calling and continue shooting from my stock of Kodak HIE-135 in deep freeze, as well as trying other films. The choice to add professional quality digital imagery to my output comes from the need to satisfy clients as well as stay in touch with current trends.

As you may be aware, Kodak discontinued manufacture and distribution of HIE-135 infrared film December 2007. Polaroid has also discontinued their instant film, and Kodak has discontinued other products. By supporting film photography, you can help maintain an art form that is in danger of vanishing. Please support infrared (and other) film by purchasing and using it. Please support infrared photographers by purchasing their work.
