Discovered photography in 1979 when I was 15 (thanks Clive) and fortunately have been engaged in it full time pretty much since, as an assistant, student, camera shop sales assistant, photographer, printer and, for the last 14 years, a photographic journalist.
My job means I get to try out a lot of cameras, from compacts to pro DSLRs – whatever we have in at the time. This is reflected in the range of kit used to take my pictures.
My main passion is travel photography, which I used to do pretty much full time when I was a cruiseship photographer but now only get to do on holidays and press trips.
I live in Brighton with my wife and, quite possibly, the two most photographed kids in Britain.
