I'm originally from Illinois, but I'm now living in New Zealand.
I started my PhD in April (2008), so this might explain the lack of updates at times.
I've had some interest in photography for a while, but it has really grown recently since I got my DSLR. I enjoy taking pictures of whatever strikes my fancy at the moment, and I'm looking forward to getting even more into photography and getting to play with even more lenses.
