This profile is in need of updating. :)

I live in Montevideo, Uruguay. I've taken all my pictures with a Kodak Easy Share DX6440 - an old 4 megapixel point-and-shoot. Now I'm the proud owner of a Lumix DMC-FS20 - still a point-and-shoot but way better. It's not a DSLR, but one in 10 50 pictures turns out not a complete mess.



I know very little about photography. I know a bit more about Photshop, but not too much more.

About comments. I know that speech about "Artsy people doing their art for themselves and not for others so if you need comments you're a hack". What I do is not art, I just take pictures of stuff I like to look at, so I do like comments.

As a rule, I check out the photostream of everyone that leaves me a comment and I always give a comment back. Part is curiosity (if they like my stuff, I wonder how their stuff looks like?) and part is "my sense of giving joy back". Everyone likes to get comments on their work and it only takes a second to tell another person you liked what they did.

Update: *wide-eyed and scared* Flickr is big. I don't feel like a small fish in a big pond, I feel like an untalented single-celled organism in an ocean.
