I've been taking photos for six years. In the beginning, I took my little point-and-shoot with me everywhere, catching whatever interesting things I could in my daily life. Now that I finally got a fancy schmancy SLR (Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi), my real progress as a photographer can begin.

I like photos that depict a "slice of life," so to speak. The rawest emotions are the ones I aim to immortalize. With each photo I strive to capture a scene that has never been seen quite the same way before. I'm also crazy about bokeh, and I just got a 50mm lens that will let me play around with the macro side of photography.

I'll be using Flickr for my photos from January 2008 onward. Some are attempts at art; others are rushed documentation of events in my life without attention to getting the perfect shot.
