Hi, I'm Nicole, also known as lollo by some. I used to be on Flickr a lot. Now, not so much. Maybe you can help me change that.

I have a photography business in Ohio called lollophtoto. I shoot weddings, children, special events and boudoir sessons.

My work has been published in JPG Magazine, Issues 7 and 9 and has been exhibited in Switzerland and here in the United States.

"Nicole is someone who is not afraid to experiment. Whether it be trying out a new photographic technique or style, she puts herself out there! That is what I admire most about her.

And knowing her in person, I know that she puts herself out on a limb in many other regards. She singlehandedly started the Cream City Milwaukee Flickr group, initiated our first exhibition, and participated in a radio interview. All without pomp and circumstance; she does these things without an attitude or inflated ego.

A woman of many talents, she can run circles around the best of us."

"I am no nature lover, but in Nicole's hands, her "naturey crap" is ... well... something to love. It's just straight-up beautiful work. But the kick comes when you get to Nicole's self-portraits. Searing honesty, sexy attitude and a very good Italian thirty-something heart revealed. Wonderful stream from a woman with a whole lot to offer."

"Nicole and I have been online friends for about six years, maybe more? Which is, like, totally a lifetime on the internet. Her photos have a mystical, often other-worldly quality which I love. And she has a great eye for detail. Oh, and she's really sexy. But you knew that."

"I'm not an authority on photography or on art, but I nevertheless assert that Nicole's photos have sincerity, passion and artistry. I also assert that she's a good hugger, very beautiful and a smart, smart lady."

"Nicole is an out and out fox. If she were a lesbian (and for that matter, if I was too), I'd marry her in a heatbeat. This girl knows how to push a cameras buttons like no one else."

"There are some people that take pictures, there are some people that create art, and then there is Nicole....taking pictures, creating art, and solidifying self through her careful, witty, inventive, and always honest explorations. Her journey is there for all to see, sometimes witnessing her pain, sometimes enjoying her glee, sometimes just laughing out loud at what comes out of her mouth in her brilliant comments and tags.
Nicole is a treasure and has my heart."

"God she's good. Even when she experiments she's good. She had a great eye for misc en scene, whether she's pointing the lens at herself or her environment."

    the other Martin Taylor says:

"Before there was flickr, before I even knew what an RSS feed I stumbled upon Nicole's blog. It was the first blog I'd come across that was made up more of photographs than words. It seemed to be redesigned every couple of months so it was constantly fresh and new so, when she decided that it had run its course, and she took it down a couple of years ago we, her small but dedicated band of readers, respected the decision but were sad to see her go.

Fast forward a little and Nicole pops up on Flickr back taking pictures and we can follow her visual diary once again. Nicole is an instinctive shooter with a great eye for detail. Her pictures are often personal, lyrical and poetic and you get a real feeling about who she is and where she is at through her photos. She doesn't seem to hold anything back or hide behind any kind of pretension. I think that takes a kind of bravery and I look forward to following her photographic odyssey in the future."
