Fell in love with photography in medical college at 17 years of age - 42 years ago. Gained good knowledge and reasonable success in both monochrome and color. I have been processing my films from the age of 18 and began my foray into photography from the darkroom in Medical College. I progressed to Color in the 1990's and usually print all my own enlargements.
I have taught photography as a visiting professor at the Loyola College, Madras, India (Dept of Visual Communications) and the Madras University to the Post Grad students at the Department of Journalism and mass communication. I have also been in the Executive Committee of the Photographic Society of Madras for about 25 years. I have now handed over to young and able photgraphers of Madras who are doing a great job. www.photomadras.org.
