....I enjoy different aspects of photography one of them being the ability to capture a moment in life and in some way immortalizing it. I use phtography as a means for recording as well as communicating. It can be a medium for art as well as pure functionality.
I only started using a digital camera within the last year. Before that i used 35 mm b&w film as well as color slides which i love! i hope to get a scanner someday so i can put a lot of my work on a digital format in order to share with others.
...on a more personal note....i love being involved in my community and working with others in order to bring about positive change or just be a support.
i'd like to travel more, but for now i'm sticking around town and building relationships. Life is good and a gift, i try to remind myself of what i have to be thankful for....

a note about my style & technique:
i try to take the best picture i can, with a good exposure, i move closer to subject if i need to (years of shooting with a fixed lense) and try to avoid using a zoom. i usually print full frame, but will crop if i feel necessary.
also i don't use photoshop heavily to edit my pics. sometimes i need to brighten a photo or crop it down, and once in awhile remove an undesireable spot, but that's all i use it for....
