I see myself as a Social Documentary Photographer but originating from the English Lakes my work has always had a very aesthetic side to it. I always set myself lots of work which keeps me very busy, at the moment I am currently documenting the Lancashire Coastline for a project that looks at aspects of life on the coast including; Business, Pleasure, Nostalgia, Decay and Regeneration. A project on football rivalries in Lancashire and the passion that fuels it as well as my grand day out project which looks on how we escape the mundane of our daily routine,

so stay tuned....

I prefer to shoot my personal work on either Fuji Provia 400 or Fuji Astia 100 on 120 roll film on my trusty Bronica however, I shoot my mono work on my Leica and then Scan them for print. However, times are tough and I seem to be shooting the majority on my D700 now unless I can find film at a reasonable price!
