“A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a step” LAO TSE TUNG.

Nico Fabbrocile becomes Nickis when he decides that music is the road that he wants to follow in his life, and full of dreams and hopes, he takes his first steps in the world of notes.

A decision is only the beginning of something; the rest is made by the flow of life.

He is young, but he has clear ideas, a lot of determination and wants to explore the world: life is something urgent and what you have inside of you cannot wait, and, therefore, he makes use of music to communicate his thoughts.

Starting is never simple, but he does not lose heart, collects his enthusiasm and his faith in his ability and makes a start in order to achieve his “Personal Legend”.

He was just 13 when in 1998 he took to the stage at the S. Marino Festival, presenting his piece, a song “Labyrinth”, a cover of Elisa who is also one of his inspiring muses.

Just a year later, he recorded his first single with the title “ I don't pretend anything from you”.

In 2000 he came to the international platform participating in the Schuler- Rock festival of Wuppertal (Düsseldorf in Germany, a springboard of many young bands, where he was greeted with curiosity and enthusiasm by a wide audience of about 6000 people; even the local press spoke about him in several interviews published in the newspapers " Wuppertal Rockt 28”,” the “Bandinella “and “Wuppertal”.

In 2002 also in Italy, the press dedicates space to him: this time it is the newspaper “Napoli” that is interested in his musical path.

The year 2003 marks the recording of the first disc “Dogmatic spirit” and it still sees him protagonist in Germany, again host at the Schuler Rockfestival of Wuppertal Uni Halle.

Again in this country, the cd against international racism entitled “Gegen wir Rocken gegen Rassismus” is presented, produced by the German label Gema with the collaboration of the Ronsdorfer Rock projekt and Entimon, Ou pont, Bunis 90, Die Grunen, JR Jugendr Wuppertal, on sale on the Internet.

In 2004 he came back to shine in Italy at the Italian festival “Italiani nel mondo”. He then took part and won in the television programme “Stelle emergenti” on Rai 2 and appeared as special guest at “MTV EMA 2004” (Rome).

2005 still saw him engaged in the Capital on the occasion of the concert organized for the Roman all night even at Cinecittà (Rome). During the same year he presented his single “Mai " at the singing kermesse “Sanremo Lab Accademia 2005”; he took part to the musical comedy “Music'Cool” for Italians throughout the world and appeared as soloist directed by Mariagrazia Fontana during the event organised by Tiziana Rocca within Cinecittà Campus (Rome).

His dream had come true.

The release of the first single in Italian “Mai " takes place in 2006, which is precisely the year of his fortunate encounter with Luca Sepe; Luca is, in fact, his producer and arranger and the piece carries the label of his record company, LS MUSIC. Luca Sepe has trod the boards of Sanremo and besides his musical activity, today he also deals with aspiring young people. “Mai” is a fresh and solar song though full of disappointments, situations coming to an end and broken spells; it is accompanied by a dynamic video that tells of Love with a capital L, between all humans, beyond prejudices, cross-sectional, without borders; it also tries to represent the beauty of the soul and the force that we are able to draw on in difficult times.

The message goes straight to the heart: “never stop”!

This jingle would soon flood the national networks.

His events of life peep out shyly from his texts, often autobiographic, that he writes personally, initially above all in English, from a good Anglophilic rock, a little due to the modesty of the story, a little due to the amazing musicality and simplicity of that language that with rock'n'roll onwards has conquered the great world-wide audiences.

Nickis was born in the province of Naples 22 years ago, and although he was always aimed towards broader horizons, he owes to his land the knowledge of his first travelling companions, some of his most loyal collaborators, among them guitarist Giuseppe Dardano, who still shares with him this exciting experience and those who first believed in him and urged him to believe in his skill as a singer and his talent.

A son of Vesuvius through whose veins course as magma the vibrations of rock, a kind of music with which he started out with his album revealing daring hints of the Canadian singer Alanis Morrissette.

When he’s on stage, the energy that he puts into his interpretations spreads around: it is the strength of things that you do with passion.

Nickis has on his lips the grimace of a rebel, but those who know him, know that an emotional sensitivity that is not weakness characterises him, and rather, leads him to dig into the depths of the human soul to capture those nuances of colour in things and in people that he then reports in his lyrics.

He has the attitude of someone who is angry, but, can you tell me who is more romantic than a rocker that’s a little damned?

Throughout the whole world where above all music travels without a passport we hope that Nickis’ music will go a long way and enjoy the success that his talent deserves .…

"Go Nickis, run against the wind… enter your sun .."

Three years of absence…a moment of personal reflection...a sought after solitude. A silence that reveals itself to be cathartic and brings a stroke of energy to projects along with renewed vitality. The inner journey coincides with radical changes in Nickis’ life: a new city to live in, Milan, a renewed image, a style in evolution. A mainly meditative stage that corresponds to more challenging texts and collaborations with prominent personalities of the national music scene.

It was 2008 that marked a turning point in the path of Nickis Fabbrocile, thanks to the encounter with his current artistic producer, arranger and Co-author Alessandro Cristofori, the artistic tuning that develops between the two minds is immediate, a new found knowledge towards the direction that one decides to undertake.

It is from this encounter that the plan to work to the first effective debut album of began, (still in progress) thanks also to the collaboration of Diego Perugini (a very good and famous national guitarist) Joy and delirium of words.

Rock united with poetry.

The sound now becomes electronic music, more rock, but, more intimist and lyrical. The song written with Adam Romano also goes in this direction,” Tappeti Romani”, that faces the terrible matter of pedophilia.

Nickis and Alexander write almost all the album together, except in some cases and some external collaborations, from a “rose” of songs they decide to aim at as first launch single a song written by the two singers entitled FREE FANTASY DOLLS… that faces in an ironic and sunny key the other passion of Nickis, that is fashions dolls, as Nickis Fabbrocile, besides dealing with music, is also a fashion designer of dolls aimed at an audience of collectors at a world-wide level.

Currently Nickis, Alessandro and all the Staff that are working on the project are focusing their energies in order to organise the official release of the single that will precede the first album of the official debut.
