I'm into any form that catches my eye but my favourite subject area is landscape although I will try most things. Need to get to know more about technique and getting more out of my equipment. If anyone would like to buy me a lens or a tripod or a decent flash or.......or........ Most of the time I just want to get out there. Wish I had a bigger hard drive as well, never mind.

I am an addict, my sister introduced me to it and I now can't get enough of it, Flickr of course. There is some fantatsic and inspirational stuff on Flickr but also some real rubbish.

On HDR the jury is still out. Too often over processed and disguises a poorly taken subject in the first place.

Oh yes, and the light in Scotland is every bit as good as you have heard. City scenes may change constantly with the comings and goings of people but the countryside changes constantly with the comings and goings of the light. In Scotland, in winter, the 2 golden hours merge to become one sometimes giving a fantastic light for the landscape photographer.
