  "I am blessed to be married to Mariana so I may be prejudiced :-) Anyway, I think she has a very great ability to convey emotion thru her photographic composition. I see happiness, sadness, joy, peace, sensuality, calmness, and many other emotions in her pictures. She frequently breaks the rules of composition and it works for her.
  
  I've been trying to teach her some of the technical aspects of the hobby while encouraging her to ignore the "rules of composition" and explore her own composition which works very well. I only wish I had this ability in my photography.
  
  To encourage her in this hobby I've been lending her my Nikon D50 for the past 2 months to prepare her for her 2007 Christmas present from her loving hubby of a Nikon D40 with kit lens.
  
  I believe God can speak even through photography and I look forward to seeing what is said through the photography of Mariana over the coming years.
