What is NHS Doncaster?

NHS Doncaster is part of the UK’s National Health Service and is responsible for the health and health care of around 300,000 people living in Doncaster.

It is NHS Doncaster’s role to look at the needs of local people, to come up with plans to meet their needs, and to make sure the health services available are effective and of good quality.
Hospitals such as Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Mexborough Montagu Hospital, as well as local doctors’ surgeries, dentists’ surgeries, and opticians are all given funding by NHS Doncaster.
