I was widowed in 2003.

My darling wife left me with two totally beautiful young children. Never a day goes by ....

I'll allow myself to be biassed however as Alexander and Claire truly are the model of what I'd like to think everyone want's in their children.

We are lucky enough to live within a drop kick of the Adelaide city centre, South Australia. We have fantastic neighbours and Chris left a legacy of great friends for us.

Our lives are seemingly on the go at all times. Needless to say looking after two youngsters, holding down a full time job and trying to fit everything else in, leaves little time for my passion for photography.

We have a far too expensive camper trailer. We hook it up to the Mitsubishi 4X4 Paj diesel and head off whenever we can. Alex and Claire are just the right age for this. We have some fun, see some sights and I occasionally get a chance to squeeze out a pic or two to show off here.

My gear includes:
Nikon 5700 (this one got me going with Nikon gear)
Nikon D200 with vert grip/ batt back
Nikkor 60mm Macro F2.8 (a little beauty)
Nikkor DX 12-24 F4
Nikkor DX 17-55 F2.8 (most often used)
Nikkor DX 18-200 (walkaround)
Nikkor VR 70-200 ED (what a monster but gives stunning results)
Manfrotto 055PROB Tripod
Manfrotto 808RC4 Head (I should have bought these two long ago)

I totally desire a Nikkor 200-400 VR and a Nikon D3. However with the Australian Nikon pricing policy it is simply not even close to being a viable option. At around over AU$13,000 for the Nikkor they're dream'in!!! Sigh....
