As far back as I can remember, I have loved taking pictures.
One of my best Christmas gifts was my first little film camera, an Argus something, that my parents gave me (finally giving into my relentless demands for a camera ;) ).
I took the plunge in the world of DSLRs in 2007, getting a used Pentax K100D. I did try out multiple cameras before making that choice, but the Pentax really seemed like the "right fit" above the others and to this day, I do not regret my choice.
I have a new found appreciation of prime lenses and as of late, my work is mostly done with my trusty 50mm, my lovely 30mm and my most recent acquisition, my 70mm which is a new kind of awesome.
I think I'm quite versatile in what I take pictures of; inspiration takes different forms at different time in one year. I often focus one "subject" for a while before moving to something else and eventually coming back.
I have a fondness for natural light. However, I'm (very) slowly leaning to play with strobes.
