Dave & Donna Johnson

Dave first fell in love with Europe as a student where improvised stops on his Eurail pass made clear that there were an abundance of locales as yet undiscovered. These adventures ultimately led him to a study of three languages, and work experiences in Italy, France and Germany. In 1989 he began to design and lead walking tours.

Donna hails from a different type of European experience, being born into an extended Italian American family in Brooklyn, New York. The Italian traditions of family, laughter and festive cuisine have run through her blood since birth and when she met Dave along the trails of Europe in 1994, something clicked.

They have been leading walking tours together ever since.
