MexicoReporter.com covers cultural and human rights stories in Mexico, with a focus on violence against journalists and the media.

Deborah Bonello has been a journalist for the last decade, working for all of the UK’s media trade magazines as well as the Guardian and the FT. After a stint writing and editing, both as staff and freelance, on most of the UK's media trade magazines, she left to work as a foreign correspondent in Latin America, and has filed from Argentina, Paraguay and Mexico, where she is currently based. She is also a human rights masters student and a guest editor for NowPublic.com.
