"Jordyn, Jordyn, Jordyn. How do I describe this wonderful girl? A few phrases could be: amazing photographer, beautiful woman (inside and out) and great friend.
Simply put, her work is breath taking. Jordyn is able to capture and combine the delicacy of nature and the raw intensity of life to create images too marvelous for words. The way she is able to manipulate the environment of her subjects, be it animals or people, with the use of light and color adds a fantastical element to her work. Each image displays her impeccable attention to detail and refinement; something most photographers struggle with. The intimate angles and perspectives used in her self portraits invite and welcome the viewer into the whimsical world and the magical mind of Jordyn. Her strong, personal concepts behind her work and the tedious process in which they are executed are absolutely mind blowing. I don't know how she does it!
I can't wait to open up an issue of National Geographic and see dozens of her images wedged in there from her adventures, traveling around the world and experiencing all of it's beauty. She has such a tremendous sense of professionalism and a heightened sense of awareness of the world around her that will take her very far. I can't wait to be there for her when she get's there!
I love this girl to death. I can't wait to see all the wonderful things she'll do and watch her continue to grow as the incredible photographer I know her to be. She is an amazing woman and I don't know where I'd be without her. SO LOOK OUT WORLD! JORDYN RAIA IS COMIN' FOR YA! :)
