Ciao a tutti,
sono appassionato di fotografia ma per scelta mi limito a livello amatoriale avanzato, nel senso che ogni tanto mi dedico a fare foto senza alcuno scopo narrativo, ma per il puro piacere di fotografare.
Attualmente uso una Canon Eos 550D (Rebel T2i negli USA o Kiss X4 in Giappone), insieme ad un obiettivo all-in-one Tamron AF 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical [IF] Macro (B003), mentre fino al 2010.11.26 ho usato un obiettivo Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM e un obiettivo Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS, tutti rigorosamente con filtri UV e CPL, MC o HMC. Il Tamron ha complessivamente una qualità delle foto superiore ai due obiettivi Sigma e Canon messi insieme e, quando ne avrò le possibilità, affiancherò al Tamron un macro da 90 o 100mm possibilmente stabilizzato. Come macchina fotografica di scorta, o per quelle situazioni dove è scomodo o pericoloso usare la reflex (feste, ricevimenti, spiaggia, neve, pioggia, ecc.) uso ancora una Canon PowerShot A720 IS di cui sono soddisfattissimo soprattutto in modalità manuale e programma.
In passato ho usato una Canon PowerShot A510 con accessori macro e polarizzatori, una Canon PowerShot S40 (ad esempio le foto agli zippo, che trovate nella raccolta omonima, sono fatte con questa), e una Kodak mc3 che usavo insieme ad una reflex a rullino Pentax MZ-10 nera. Prima di queste prime importanti fotocamere ho avuto una Pentax Espio 38-70 e la mia primissima macchina fotografica è stata una compatta Mamiya rossa con il flash a scomparsa, regalatami da mio zio per la prima comunione.

Sono anche appassionato di viaggi (anche se ora ho poco tempo per farne) e di penne stilografiche (che potete ammirare nella raccolta dedicata).

I am a photography lover, but by choice I consider myself in a semi-advanced amateur level, meaning that sometimes I dedicate to take pictures without any narrative purpose, for the pure pleasure of photographing.
At present I use a Canon Eos 550D (USA: Rebel T2i or Japan: Kiss X4) with an all-in-one Tamron AF 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical [IF] Macro (B003) lens, while until 2010.11.26 I used a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM lens and a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens, all of them with filters UV and CPL, MC or HMC. The Tamron lens has an overall better picture quality than the other two lens Sigma and Canon together and, when I will have the possibility, alongside with the Tamron I will buy a 100mm or 90mm macro lens, better if stabilized. As a backup camera, or for those situations where it is inconvenient or dangerous to use the camera (parties, receptions, beach, snow, rain, etc.). I still use a Canon PowerShot A720 IS for which I am very satisfied and I use it mainly in manual or program mode.
In the past I used a Canon PowerShot A510 with macro and polarizers accessories, a Canon PowerShot S40 (for example, photos to zippo, found in the collection the same name, are done with this one), and a Kodak mc3 which I used along with a 35mm film SLR Pentax MZ-10 black. Before these important cameras, I used a Pentax Espio 38-70 and my very first camera was a compact red Mamiya with push-on flash, a gift from my uncle.

I am also fond of travel (although now I have no time for it) and fountain pens (which you can admire in the dedicated collection).
