Creating art is a passion, but my experience as an artist stretches far beyond times when a paintbrush or camera is in hand. Each moment in life presents a rich opportunity to explore, discover, capture and reveal beauty. Life is a mixture of glory and brokenness, but beauty seeps through every crack and crevice. It is this beauty that fills me with wonder. The beauty of God’s creation refreshes my eyes and propels me forward. After a long day at the canvas, I love to look up to the sky to soak in a simple - seemingly effortless - yet majestic and beautiful sunset. It is this beauty that inspires me, refills me, time and time again, to create. It is my desire that as people encounter my work, their vision will be challenged and refined, their senses will be awakened, and that they will return to their daily lives with an increased awareness of beauty and a deeper awe, wonder, and appreciation of life.
