Slightly warped photo fanatic with a tendency to snap the bizarre and occasionally disturbing image.

Please note that I harmed no animals any of these photos. I find a lot of dead creatures on my travels, and they make fascinating photo subjects. Please don't take offense. I love animals, and I love photographing living creatures much more than dead ones.

EQUIPMENT:
I dream in digital. I've got some experience with analogue photography, but I prefer the versatility and low cost of digital.

Sony MVC-200
All photos pre-2006 were taken with my Sony Mavica CD. It's a nice entry level cam, with full manual options and a ton of storage space, thanks to its built in mini-CD-RW drive. Has poor zoom, however, and is only 2.1 megapixels, making it little more than a hefty point-and-shoot cam.

Panasonic DMC-FZ30
My new baby. Mid range pseudo-DSLR with tons of functions. Not quite as versatile or as high quality as the Canon Rebel XT, but costs a lot less, and has a great lens (35-420 35mm equivalent, with macro focus and image stabilization). Some day, when I have the means, I'll upgrade to a true DSLR, but until then, this suits me just fine.

Panasonic DMC-TZ2
Point and shoot with bonus 10x zoom lens. I carry this one with me almost everywhere I go, just in case I run across something interesting. The really nice part is that it uses SD cards, and my Blackberry uses mini-SD cards, so if I use an adapter, I can move photos directly from my camera to my Blackberry and upload on the fly. Now all I need to do is find a way to mash up my Blackberry's GPS capabilities so I can geo-tag my pics from the road.
