A photographer who has always from memory as a child loved to take photographs. I was born in Liverpool (UK) and now live on the Wirral Peninsula.

My first 35mm SLR was a Praktica Nova 1b with the prime lens and a short 135mm telephoto, I had this for some time and still do. I then bought several compact/pocket 35mm cameras for the convenience of family holidays etc.

A few years ago I bought my first digital compact camera the Olympus mju300 I now own a Canon EOS350 DLSR and I am adding to this kit on a regular basis.

All my pictures apart from the compact digital camera images are taken in the RAW format. Post processing in the “Digital Darkroom” is performed with Adobe Photoshop and other similar software packages. I am now starting to experiment with HDR processing and I will add a section on this site soon.
