I have been sewing for most of my life both professionally and for myself. Last year, I formed a sewing collective in Philadelphia, where I live. Philadelphia Sewing Collective is a diverse group who strives to create a community for stitchers and crafters, both professional and hobbyists. We share resources and jobs, offer classes to the public, hold master classes for members and engage in outreach to the community, including cultural exchanges with other sewing collectives.
