A picture is worth a thousand words.

However, if those seem insufficient, then I will attempt to add a few more relevant ones here.

I feel like I'm not much more than just a traveler through this life on an errand to learn something. I grew up in a small town in Kansas and have traveled the world - though certainly not all of it, by any stretch of the imagination - and I have seen much and done much... and indeed, I do feel that I have learned some things.

It has been said that the first half of one's life should be devoted to amassing wealth and that the last half of one's life should be devoted to giving that wealth back where it is both needed and wisely used. I am not a rich man, but I have [arguably] obtained that half-way point in my life. My wealth is not measured in coin, but in other ways. I think I have much to give - at least to those who seek happiness and enlightenment.

An important step along the way has been learning to "see" the world in all its beauty and glory. Each and every day we have been given a gift from the Almighty - it surrounds us everywhere we go and it is wondrous. I hope that through images, I might be able to communicate this simple, unbiased beauty. This is my love of photography, in all its myriad forms.

Am I any good as a photographer? I don't know. "Good" is subjective at best - so I'm not too worried. I just hope you see some images that inspire you to think.

I started learning photography at the age of 12 using my grandfather's 1938 Argus C3. ....love that camera!
