The Sustainable Forestry Teachers' Academy is a week-long residential program for teachers in North Carolina. The goal of the Academy is to introduce teachers to the science of forestry, the importance of the industry to the economy of North Carolina, and different management techniques. Teachers are provided with lesson plan ideas and curriculum, and the SFTA Notebook, which will help them take what they have learned back to the classroom. All grades and subjects are encouraged to apply!
