Taking photographs since 1961 or so (aged 13). None of the really early stuff survives.

Enthusiast for mechanical cameras*, and prefers to shoot film. Still has a darkroom with Durst Modular 70 and Durst DA900 enlargers, both with Multigrade heads..

My black and white posts are scans from silver prints. Colour posts are digital or scans from negatives or transparencies.

Standard b&w method: HP5+, Rodinal 1+50 with 50gm/litre sodium sulphite added. Enlarged onto Ilford Multigrade RC or FB.


Jazz guitar is a passion, I play Guild (Starfire IV, D55, F45, F20) and Fender (1970s hardtail Stratocaster)..
