Many of the items you use everyday are made from oil-based plastics and fibers. Ingeo is a new material made from plants that can used to make those same products...from the clothes you wear to the plastic package holding your food...but with a much smaller impact on the planet. Because Ingeo biopolymer is made from plants and not oil, the manufacturing process emits 60% less greenhouse gases and uses 50% less fossil fuels than traditional oil-based polymers (like PET or polystyrene). That's a whole lot less stress on our planet and a more responsible choice for us all.
