I'm an avid wildlife photo enthusiast who especially enjoys raptors. I shoot most of my stuff at the New York Botanical Garden, a 250-acre oasis in the borough of the Bronx. I also venture to Woodlawn Cemetery, Van Cordtlandt Park, Central Park and other locations known for fine-feathered and four-legged friends.

But the NYBG is my favorite place to shoot. It is a living museum of plants which also includes a 50-acre native forest teaming with wildlife. Home to red-tail hawks, great-horned owls, muskrats, rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels, racoons, turtles, frogs and too many species of birds to mention. I'm a member. A paid membership gets you unlimited access to their exhibition buildings, grounds and other events.

But in all honestly, I'm no bird-watcher. I'm in it for the hawks and other raptors. I simply love photographing these magnificent hunters. I also enjoy watching falconry, a sport I'd love to one day try.

I also do cemetery photography and treat the many sculptures, headstones, mausoleums and tombs that I come across as works of art worthy of many of the worlds great museuems.

Some of my cemetery shots have been published in the book Walking The Twilight Path by renowned psychic and Energy Worker, Michelle Belanger, The Bronx Times Reporter, Dark Realms Magazine and Monsters from the Vault Magazine.

My wildlife photos have been featured in The Bronx Times Reporter, two signs in the Botanical Garden's Native Forest as well as the NY Botanical Garden official Website.

My current camera is:

Canon Powershot SX40-HS - The bad boy of Canon Point-and-shoots. It's lens goes from 28mm to a staggering 840 mm
