I live in rural Washington state, in a messy valley between the steppe and the evergreens.

Since my EF-S 17–85mm walk-around died, my Canon EOS 350D Rebel T1i usually has a trusty EF 50mm f/1.8 mk1 attached. I'm also grateful for the 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM and 100–400mm f/4.5–5.6 L IS USM lenses I was able to buy before becoming an independent software developer.

Talk of which, Geotagalog is an app I write to let me geotag my photos without fuss and I use Photon Star to rate photos so the better ones can (eventually) end up here on Flickr.
