Inspired by the values instilled by her mother, who at the age of 13 was arrested while marching with Dr. Martin Luther King during the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham, AL, Natasha Holiday has long been dedicated to community engagement and economic empowerment. Natasha has worked with a number of governmental, political, and urban development organizations including the City of New York.

As a governmental immigrant rights advocate, Natasha worked within New York City government to ensure NYC’s limited-English speaking population had adequate access to public benefits. She also wrote language access policies and procedures for the City of New York.

Natasha currently works as a Vice President with Scott Balice Strategies, an advisory firm that consults a number of the largest city and state governmental agencies and leaders in the development of capital plans, debt management, financial modeling and public private partnerships. She has worked on economic development projects in New Orleans, Providence, San Diego, and Cleveland, and formerly worked with Goldman Sachs municipal finance group where she helped structure debt financings for cities and states to develop public infrastructure - schools, road improvements, airports and stadiums. As a former legislative aide to the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Natasha researched the health impacts in urban communities.

Natasha is a mentor with iMentor, a non-profit organization that utilizes technology to facilitate mentoring relationships with underserved NYC high school students, and is a 2009 Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) Fellow. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health and the Bedford Stuyvesant YMCA, both located in Central Brooklyn and is a member of Community Board 17 and the Economic Development Committee for the Flatbush Development Corp.

Natasha is a graduate of Xavier University (OH) where she received her BA in History and BS in Political Science, and Harvard University where she received a Master’s Degree in Public Policy.

Natasha resides in the Flatbush, Brooklyn with her husband, Aaron where they work with local leaders to improve the neighborhood’s quality of life. They are members of the Church of Christ.

Natasha Holiday is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBCF) Alumni Network, the National Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow Program, New York City Urban Fellow Alumni Network, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
