Natalie Mosher has spent a lifetime bringing people together to get things done. Whether she was working as a community leader, a teacher, a non-profit development director or a mother- Natalie Mosher has always been the “go-to” person. No issue has been too big or too small for Natalie to take on, get results, and succeed.

In the boardroom, she successfully served as Director of the National Retiree Volunteer Coalition, a program under Volunteers of America, where she helped make the group a national expert on retiree volunteerism. In the classroom, she built bridges between her suburban students and their counterparts in the inner city that led to an innovative joint summer school program for 7 and 8 year olds.

Natalie also served as Chief Development Officer of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, which was created to establish, operate, and maintain a series of parks and green spaces along Detroit’s Riverfront. At the United Way in Washington, Natalie’s work on the Workplace Campaign exceeded the goal by 10 percent. And as an active member of the League of Women Voters, Natalie promoted K-12 and higher education reform across America.

Now, as a candidate for Congress, Natalie is matching her work ethic, experience, and passion for getting results to the record of Thaddeus McCotter in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District.

Natalie knows that Michigan is facing tough problems today. Whether it’s job losses, the credit crunch, falling home prices, affordable healthcare or the myriad of other challenges facing us … Democrats, Republicans and Independents are looking for one thing: solutions.

Unlike career politicians, she won’t resort to the same old finger pointing that only makes the hard work of getting Michigan back on track more difficult. Natalie is a problem solver and a passionate advocate who will lean on her life experiences to create and protect Michigan jobs, reform health care, empower teachers by transforming No Child Left Behind and a restore America’s commitment to strengthening Main Street small businesses.

Natalie was born in Detroit and is a graduate of Michigan State University. She and her husband Bob, a retired Ford Motor Company engineer, live in Canton, Michigan where she is active in her community. They have two grown sons.
