I am a teacher and soccer coach in Memphis, Tennessee. My main photographic interest is old stuff. Old buildings, cars, and especially signs. Old signs show so much character. My father is an architect and always showed me beauty in old buildings. Memphis is a treasure of old stuff but, unfortunately, the trend now is that "old" means "tear it down!" My manic photo-taking is mainly because the great old stuff is disappearing too fast. I just love taking photos. My camera is a Kodak Z1012IS. Not a top of the line Nikon or Canon, but I like it. I do not harbor any delusions that I am a professional photographer. I just like getting out for a few hours and seeing what I can find. My fiance' laughs because there are no people in my photos.
