Hi there, I'm Ian I'm 45 years old, though I don't think I'll ever fully grow up.


Most of my pictures, have been taken in and around the Northern Lower peninsular of Michigan, Mostly In Benzie county and the surrounding area.

I welcome Comments and Constructive Sugestions.

I've been interested in Photography for probably 30 years, but only recently has it turned into a passion, I've always been interested in mechanical objects, and sometimes this has gotten me into trouble, my first camera was a kodak 126 insta-matic, which really belonged to my Dad, until the day I took it apart to see how it worked.

At a car boot sale (kinda like a huge multi family garage sale) I bought my First real camera, a Praktica BX20 35mm manual slr and a few lenses, and then I really got hooked, I still have that and it stil works, I take it out and play with it from time to time, I also Have a Praktica BMS.

My next camera was a Pentax ZX60, which broke (nothing to do with me, I didn't take this one apart), then I got a ZX50 (which still works and I feel is a better camera than the 60).

I also have a Pentax P3N, and a Mamiya 1100 screwmount Slr

I always said I'll never go digital I'll never go digital. but of course I did, though of course I still have and use my film camera's from time to time. I have a Pentax K-x DSLR, my First Pentax DSLR was a *ist DL which my Ex Wife now has.

I love Sunsets, playing with macro shots, wildlife and Bird photography, I also Love taking pictures of the local lighthouses. Pretty much I just love taking pictures, and my camera goes most places with me.
