My name is Najin Jun and I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Although it's stifling to sum myself up within the confines of a few paragraphs, I'll give it a whirl:

For starters, I was brought up instilled with traditional Asian values. Over the years, my ethics and perspectives have been refined through my experiences as a second generation Korean-Canadian. Although I hold deep respect for the persistance & discipline my parents have taught me, I'm inevitably drawn to fresh perspectives and unconventional innovation.

Despite perspective-skewing stereotypes, everyone has a different combination of insights to offer due to their experiences. This is why I'm strongly against excluding those who might not be socially "praised" and am always enthusiastic to meet new and diverse people.

As a paradox, I also believe that the people you surround yourself with will greatly influence your character. So even though I appreciate diversity, I gravitate towards people who are passionate and those who excel in their own niche, whatever that may be.

I'm currently pursuing a career in Pharmacy while maintaining my infectious passions for painting and web design. My second-degree pursuits incude fashion and motor sports. As you can imagine, I have several aspirations that I plan to pursue after I'm settled financially. I'm wildly excited to show the world what a little bit of dreaming and lots of persistance can yield!

So as you can see, at face value I might seem a walking contradiction: while I appreciate meeting diverse people, I gravitate towards a specific type. While I'm pursuing a very science-based career, my heart belongs to the art of creation.
