I’am painting naive pictures with happy and confident people, beautiful decorated terraces, idyllic facade and ornate gardens. My favorite scene is people in peaceful and pleasant situations with a dispute of humor.

Many people ask where I have my ideas from - the answer is very simple, I look just around everyday. Maybe a little too strong big man on a tiny moped with the obligatory beer box in the luggage rack. Or a little retired man who had imagined his retirement a little differently than dragging heavy shopping bags for his wife to go ahead with her small handbag. Sometimes it's one that can recognize her Aunt Martha or Uncle Charles.

I read somewhere that you are born naivist - for already as a little girl I drew little funny people and animals. I still do so - it's probably my destiny.

After a Christmas Eve I was lucky to get a box of color tubes and brushes- I joined a group of painters which all painted normal and so did I , but it always ended up being naive.
