Nagomi Ryokan Yuu's photostream

In the eternal city of Kyoto a traditional Japanese wooden house "machiya" is opened as "Nagomi-Ryokan Yuu" in Spring, 2009.
This machiya house was used as "ochaya" meant a pub/restaurant entertained by "geisha"s 80 years ago and had been newly renovated for us.
We are located on the backstreet of small shopping arcade in a peaceful local residential area although situated in only a 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station and very convenient for sightseeing.
All the guest rooms are classic Japanese-style, besides a courtyard of Japanese garden, tea room for the Japanese tea ceremony and a relaxing cafe serving breakfast and coffee make you comfortable as if you were staying in a local home.
