"Madge has an eye for composition and color that is unmatched. She is able to create beautiful still lifes that are wonderfully constructed, brilliantly colored, and yet remain personal at the same time. I've yet to see any one who comes close to her consistently wonderful work. I am not sure it is possible, in this case, to separate the art from the artist and that is good. Madge's warm, caring, and good heart can be felt in every picture she creates (yes, even it involves kitchen sponges)."
