I like old and decaying things, flickering neon signs, the archaeology of neglected architecture, accidental urban beauty. I play rock music and my band is presently developing and recording a theme album of songs about abandonment and isolation.
I am just learning to use a digital camera.

Technical Notes: I don't have a great camera, and while I'd rather shoot on film, the cost and time involved are prohibitive to me right now. As such: I aggressively digitally manipulate my photos to better represent what I see in my head. The following is attributed to Picasso: "We all know that art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth.”
I'll add the "nophotoshop" tag to any unmodified images.
It is my intention for these photos to reflect a certain degree of quiet in the world I inhabit.
