Although I have always taken photos, it's only recently (April 2010) that I really became interested in digital SLR photography and all it entails. At first, I thought I would never get the hang of it, but now I can't imagine going anywhere without my camera, and seem to be developing the 'camera nut's eye'. You know, 'Hmmmm, that would look good close up' or 'What a great angle for a photo'.

I haven't travelled overseas yet, and not really likely to, but my own beautiful country, Australia, provides some of the most spectacular scenes to photograph. It is my eventual aim to do them fantastic justice through the lens of my digital camera.
