  "I have known Mylin both professionally and personally for several years now, and I will swear before anybody who is willing to listen to the likes of me that she is one of the most difficult people I have ever been faced with the challenge of corrupting, and one of the most enjoyable.
  She is also one of the most dedicated and hardworking ( notice how I avoided using the word 'committed' there - see? I can be tactful. ) people I know. She cares about people, and animals. And people and animals ( most especially cats and geese, for some odd reason ) are equally "charmed" by her. There is a ( sorry, kiddo, it's still there ) purity about her that we're attracted to.
  Perhaps it was the Catholic upbringing. I, for one, sincerely doubt it. Or maybe, just maybe, that had piss-all to do with it, and in reality, "her heart was three sizes too big". No, that can't be it either. More likely a glandular thing, or a weird allergy or something. We may never know.
  Oh sure, she has minor faults, like all of us. I mean, she's not a saint. She does not tolerate interruptions well. Therefore I am attempting to lighten her mood with rubber-band therapy, but I don't think she understands yet that it is meant to be playful. And, you should hear her on the golf course. Curses like a drunken sailor! And she doesn't like getting her balls wet. At least I'm assuming that's why she won't golf in the rain. And some strange obsession with her chair at work none of the rest of us understand at all. Perhaps it has something to do with the Bellinis.Mostly, though, she's a good kid. And a good photographer.
  Did I mention she does most of this in heels? ( Except the golf, of course. )"

  "I met Miss Mylin during our UBC AMS PO days, which was amazingly, about 6 years ago - time flies!!! Those were fun times :) just hanging out and working in the SUB! I'm happy that we still manage to keep in touch even though we are in different parts of the world. She is a sweet, kind and beautiful person, even though she doesn't see it sometimes...I love your photos Mylin, and I'm glad to see that things are going so well for you.
