It began with a flash. I was a child. It was Thanksgiviing. We had party tables set up in the garage. Tons of relatives. Fancy clothes. My Dad had the camera. People smiled. Drinks flowed. There was a pop, a crackle, a flash of light, a blue bulb surrounded by circular cardboard. The film advanced. The flash was fleeting. My Dad handing my brother and I the mysterious burned out bulb. I was forever hooked.
