I have the privilege and honor of being in my first juried show as a painter! Orchid Allure is on display at Powell Gardens near Kansas City, Missouri through the end of April 2007.
"I was not familiar with Malinda Welte's work previous to her inclusion of a tiny orchid painting in the juried 'Orchids & Hydrangeas' exhibition Powell Gardens, Kansas City, MO., 2007. But this I know now----in these diminutive scaled orchid botanicals, Welte has found her niche!" ----Cynthia Padilla, Curator.
